About Us

Good Samaritan Child Care Ministries [GOSACAM] is a child development organization registered as a community based organization. It operates in Mayuge district  in the eastern Uganda.

 GOSACAM works with family house hold members in the communities at the grassroots to enable them care and meet the rights of children to ensure that they have improved livelihoods. GOSACAM reaches over 700 children in Mayuge District.

 Mission:

The mission of GOSACAM is to promote sustainable development through community programs that focus on women and children.

Vision:

 To enable communities care for the children.

Through an integrated approach, GOSACAM, has supported activities which promote survival, protection, and development rights of children both at family and community level.GOSACAM receives support from the local community.

In pursuit to fulfill and accomplish our mission, aim and purpose of existence, GOSACAM has strategic objectives through which programs are carried.

Our objectives:

A. To enhance the social economic status of families supporting orphans and vulnerable children through income generating projects.

B. To build and strengthen community capacities for self-reliance.

C. To offer psychosocial support to orphans and other vulnerable children.

D.  To offer care and support to people affected and infected by HIV/AIDS
